I do tend to agree, that this comes from a GNU fan, and is obviously pro-GNU and against all commercial software. But, what I initially disliked was not so much the open source comments, but comments like: Behaving as a parasite, just like a government uses taxation to live on the back of productive people. or the generality of comments like: Do not hesitate to do things that would otherwise be considered as risky when you're pretty sure you can't be watched; but conversely, don't take any risk that is made wholly unnecessary because the desired effect is already achieved. Definitely an interesting reead, though. -- Giorgos Keramidas . . . . . . . . . keramida@{ceid.upatras.gr,freebsd.org} FreeBSD Documentation Project . . . http://www.freebsd.org/docproj/ FreeBSD: The power to serve . . . . http://www.freebsd.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
