How true. All this talk of "competition", "enemy" etc between FreeBSD &
Linux is total nonesense. Both are free Unixes, driven by peoples'
enthusiasm for the product not commercial ventures driven by the desire
to be as rich as Bill. Surely competition is something that should be
left to the commercial world. Co-operation is more appropriate to
FreeBSD & Linux, binaries that run under both OS's for instance.

FreeBSD & Linux are 2 of a kind, even though they may have different
goals and different ways of doing things.
