		last messages sent at the end of the previous week requires
		too much clicking and scrolling.

		the archive which is the most recent from the previous week.

Provide a 'Previous week' link on the [UP][Home] etc. lines.
		mailindex.cgi would need to generate a URL like this:
		http://docs.freebsd.org/mail/archive/2004/freebsd-doc/20041031.freebsd-doc.html
		and then make a link to it.
