In light of some recent attention to ESR's book, "The Cathedral and The Bazaar", on some Slashdot posts, maybe you might point out the differences [and similarities] between Linux and FreeBSD in that context as you answer the above questions. Or, what might be more important to a computer-literate audience, what the differences will be when FreeBSD 5.0 hits the streets.
