Hi, I'm getting a retired octal server from work and I was wondering if linux 2.6 was a better bet than Freebsd 4.10 or 5.x It is going to be used as a webserver primarily. Also, was this errata ever addressed in the FreeBSD kernel? It is about the Intel Profusion chipset and how there is data corruption when there is more than 4gb of memory. The Intel server series model number was OCPRF100 Thanks, Jay.
