>Release: FreeBSD 2.2-BETA_A i386
>Environment:

	P5/133 on an Asus motherboard

>Description:

When trying to sysinstall via PPP over a device connected
to sio1, ppp is unable to communicate with the device.
It appears that even though sio1 (COM2, whatever) is selected,
ppp is trying to use sio0. Even saying "set device
/dev/cuaa1" has no effect. The kernel appears to have no
trouble using /dev/cuaa1; but PPP cannot be made to.

>How-To-Repeat:

Attach a modem to sio1, and try to sysinstall over it.

>Fix:

Workaround: attach your modem to sio0.
