Mixing the two is bad news. What has worked for some: completely remove numpy, gcc 4.5 *and* gcc 4.6, lapack and blas. Then reinstall numpy and see if "import numpy" works. If that doesn't work, the only thing I can recommend is a port rebuild. Sorry :/ Geoff
