so, why don't you use the XF86_Mach32 server?

rm /usr/X11R6/bin/X
ln -s /usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_Mach32 /usr/X11R6/bin/X

XF86_Mach32 should have mode 4755 (rwsr-x-rx)
If you don't know  about the clocks and such, run xf86config and choose
the Mach32 server.
