Have you tried running an image with this patch in place:

If you do not have that patch, you should try to see if you can reproduce y=
our
issue without TSO enabled, specifically without a TSO packet ever attempted=
 to
be sent (for example by ensuring TSO is disabled for that interface in
/etc/rc.conf).  Without the above patch in place, and TSO enabled, it may be
possible (that is, has not been ruled out) for the state of the virtual dev=
ice
to become corrupted via the sending of TSO packets, so disabling TSO on the
interface later might not make a difference.
