Going from 2.1.0-RELEASE to -current, make world does this
after I did make bootstrap:

building shared c library (version 3.0)

New one for me, I have never gotten -current to compile cleanly
all the way through from 2.1.0-RELEASE.  Some minor amount of
tweaking is always needed.. but this is beyond me.

Doing an nm on the .so, with irrelevant parts clipped, returns:

00000040 ? __res_opcodes
000029d0 D __res_opcodes
00000040 ? __res_resultcodes
00002a10 D __res_resultcodes

Suggestions to avoid/solve this problem?
