I am having problems with the Huawei E367 3G modem (USB) on FreeBSD (tried both 8.2 and 9.0-RC2). It's using the u3g driver. I have made a thread in the FreeBSD forums about this without much luck. http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?p=156029 As you can see (if you read the thread) after I dial with ppp the LED starts to shine in blue and turquoise, just like it does in Windows and Linux when it's connected (as opposed to just twinkling in blue). Furthermore the tun0 interface is created and assigned an IP (which looks proper) and gateway, and /etc/resolv.conf will contain the nameservers. Regardless of all this, regardless of ppp going "Ppp PPp PPP", there's no internet activity. ping and traceroute all times out, even to my gateway, which, by the way, looks a bit wonky. There's logs, configuration files and various outputs in the thread. Thanks in advance.
