It works fine with other machines like solaris2 but the bsd client which is the same machine as the NIS server reports some problems. The problems appear when I add +::::::::: to /etc/passwd using vipw When I try to login then login makes a core dump (signal 11), it is the same for several applications. Could you help me ? Thanks, Thierry. ________________________________________________________________________ Thierry Delaitre | Tel: +44/071-911-5000 ext. 3659 Centre for Parallel Computing | University of Westminster | E-mail: delaitt@wmin.ac.uk 115 New Cavendish Street | LONDON W1M 8JS, UK | http://www.wmin.ac.uk/~delaitt ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
