v0.91 is available and requires no additional patching. :-(

Also, why're you using

	${PREFIX}/lib/perl5/site_perl/DBI.pm

instead of

	${PREFIX}/lib/perl5/site_perl/${PERL_VER}/i386-freebsd/DBI.pm
?
