Is my IP address 203.144.218.161 ? ...and if so, what can I do next to test my connection? ...are there some simple commands that I can enter to test my connection? ...what next before I start X and fire-up a browser etc ...and how do I get out of the PPP > prompt and back into the FreeBSD # prompt? Thanks. Ohh and BTW I'm using a Lucent Winmodem... impossible! Cheers, Raymond Pert To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
