I have it installed in /compat/linux/opt. TextMaker's website is here: http://www.softmaker.de/tml_en.htm It does a good job at reading Microsoft word documents. I have also sent *docs to windows users and they say the docs render just fine. You can get a 30 day trial version at the bottom of the above web page. Kind regards, Jonathan
