Reinstall FreeBSD on that disk using this procedure: 1) Use DOS fdisk to: a) Blow away the FreeBSD slice you just made. b) make a small primary DOS partition on that disk. 2) Boot the FreeBSD install floppy. When you get to the fdisk editor, delete the DOS slice you just made and install FreeBSD as you did before.
