            Bug ID: 265444
Summary: bhyve cannot start vm: vm_open: No such file or
                    directory
           Product: Base System
           Version: 13.1-RELEASE
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: bhyve
          Assignee: virtualization@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: rob2g2-freebsd@bitbert.com

I am having a strange issue with bhyve on a 13.1-RELEASE system:
I can start a VM with=20

bhyve -w -AHP -s 0:0,hostbridge -s 31:0,lpc -s 2:0,virtio-net,tap5 -s
3:0,virtio-blk,/data/vms/debian/disk0.img -c 2 -m 8192M -s
29,fbuf,tcp=3D192.168.1.1:5901,wait -s 30,xhci,tablet -l
bootrom,/usr/local/share/uefi-firmware/BHYVE_UEFI.fd debian

when I shutdown the vm and try to start again, the same command gives=20
"vm_reinit: Device busy", then after I delete /dev/vmm/debian,
/dev/vmm.io/debian.bootrom and /dev/vmm.io/debian.framebuffer again issuing=
 the
command results in a "vm_open: No such file or directory".

At this stage I cannot even unload the vmm module and can also not start the
debian vm.=20

This is on a system with an intel i7-7700 cpu and 64GB ram.
