Subject:   Lots broken after upgrading yesterday

After I upgraded ports on two systems yesterday, both show the same
problem. The gnome-settings-daemon does not start. As a result, no
applets start and settings for a lot of stuff are wrong (fonts,
colors). 

Any idea what happened? The updates with "portupgrade -Ra" all seemed to
go fine. All ports appear to be up-to-date.
