foxfair@FreeBSD.org once stated: Of course! This is the perfect reason for a month delay. Everyone must re-read the http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/handbook37.html#48 before submitting a port -- everytime. No, we will not announce the change of procedures (port maintainers are clearly listed in the Makefiles, but why?), we will not warn about it when auto-replying to ports/* PRs either. We will just close the PR, so we can put a mark against it, and have the poor shmuck resubmit it -- if he still has the file, of course. And if he does not -- too bad, because not even a person with @freebsd.org account seems to be able to get anything out of the dark one-way pit the /FreeBSD/incoming has become! And he better follow the latest rules too, or else we'll just send him for another round... -mi =Synopsis: Progressive Networks' RealAudio proxy ported = =State-Changed-From-To: open->closed =State-Changed-By: foxfair =State-Changed-When: Wed Mar 10 00:36:41 PST 1999 =State-Changed-Why: =Please attach this port when send-pr, and the file located at =ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/FreeBSD/incoming/RealAudioProxy-port.tar.gz =has a wrong permission.
