>Release: FreeBSD 2.2.5-RELEASE i386
>Environment:

   X11, started from /etc/rc.local.

>Description:

When using Xdm started from /etc/rc.local; X-related files can be
left in /tmp. Because these are left, a subsequent start of X fails.

>How-To-Repeat:

Run X; then reboot. After the reboot; X won't start.

>Fix:

Apply the following diff to /etc/rc, which adds a line to remove
 any X-related files from /tmp.
