So far it has AIX on it but I'm going = to give Debian/ppc a spin as well. Having been using FreeBSD for quite a lo= ng time on x86, I'm wondering right now to what (if any) extent it might be= possible to load this onto the rs/6000. I'm guessing there are architectur= al differences between the IBM and the FreeBSD-targeted Macs but then= , how much trouble would it be to adapt the sources according to the= specs of this machine and "port" it ? Since both operate= on powerpcs and open firmware, this should be possible,&= nbsp; shouldn't it? P.S: sorry for the rather clumsy English im wr= iting, I hope I got my question across in an understandable way.
