 Change /etc/X11/XF86Config manually to reflect this:
 
 Section "Device"
     Identifier  "Card0"
     Driver      "nvidia"
     VendorName  "GeForce4 MX 440"
     BoardName   "GeForce4 MX 440"
 
 If that does not work, change /bootloader.conf to include this:
 
 agp_load="YES"
 
 In rare cases, it make conflict with nVidia's AGP GART driver.
