To my knowledge, BSDI (makers of BSD/OS) does not give out any
free software other than their dosemu. If you are asking how to install
FreeBSD (NOT BSDI), have you read over the install.txt file located at
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/3.0-RELEASE/INSTALL.TXT?
