I've seen one similar in action...a client I worked for had a 16 port (I think) Raritan KVM switch in his server room with a fiber expansion card, and ran a fiber line to his office which was in a trailer. It worked just like you were sitting at the console. REALLY expensive, but it worked well. I'd imagine their IP based ones are fairly similar...but for stuff like that, I'd say go with Raritan since from past experience they tend to have the best high end KVMs. --Brian -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG] On Behalf Of Marc G. I'd like to be able to better manage my remote FreeBSD boxes, especially when it comes to doing upgrades and being able to get back to the previous kernel ... from what I've been able to find, its not going to be cheap, but havng no experience with them, some feedback from those using would be helpful ... one thing I'd really like is to be able to make better use of DDB remotely, if that is possible?
