Hello, could-it be that you are recompiling your kernel after a source update ? Then, you **have** to use a matching /usr/sbin/config (cd /usr/src/usr.sbin/config ; make ; make install) TfH PS : there shouldn't be any CAM in a -STABLE system. > I'm getting a Error code 1 when I try to make a kernel in 2.2.7 - here > is the what I get: > > ET -DKERNEL -c vers.c > loading kernel > isa.o: Undefined symbol `_isa_devtab_cam' referenced from text segment > isa.o: Undefined symbol `_isa_devtab_cam' referenced from text segment > isa.o: Undefined symbol `_isa_devtab_cam' referenced from text segment > isa.o: Undefined symbol `_isa_devtab_cam' referenced from text segment > isa.o: Undefined symbol `_isa_devtab_cam' referenced from text segment > isa.o: Undefined symbol `_isa_devtab_cam' referenced from text segment > isa.o: Undefined symbol `_isa_devtab_cam' referenced from text segment > isa.o: Undefined symbol `_isa_devtab_cam' referenced from text segment > *** Error code 1 > > Stop. > > Please let my know what you think it might be..
