Same with the Acrobat > plugin. Thanks for your research. This is what I have come up with as well... It's caused by the differences in ABIs between FreeBSD 4 and 5/6 libraries, it seems. With the new FreeBSD 6 binaries of Opera 9, the Acrobat plugin works, but Flash is still a problem (they're actively working on solving this though). > > Anyhow, if you feel that silencing Opera isn't worthwhile, I'm > happy to > wait until Opera9. I feel that silencing the warning is not the correct way :). With the warning, we at least know that the plugins don't work. The libmap.conf entries hide this. I hope Opera 9 will solve this problem completely, and will work with Opera to ensure this will be the case. Thanks again and best regards, Arjan
