In a moment of frustaion I tookoof FreeBSD and reloaded my old Linux system to access my zip and it crashed on me as usual. So I copied what I needed to floppies and went back and reinstalled FreeBSD; recompiled my kernel to what I had before and was stable again. " My problem seems to be when I try to mount or fdisk the Da0-da0s4 I recieve device not configured. Also when I boot it finds it then latter it says error/timeout/5." I have tried to remake the devices and that dosen't work and have read and pursued all the Docs on my machine and Internet and it still dosen't work. Now I may be using MAKEDEV command wrong for I do not use any options but the device name.
