Yes, that's what first comes to mind, but I want to understand first
why there is not as(1) on some targets in the first placed, while it
is installed on clangish i386/amd64.

patch-configure is incorrectly generated in that PR, please don't commit
it.  Let's see if I can sort out arm* building problems in next couple
of days first.
