I have added the following line to my rc.conf: apm_enable="YES" apmd_enable="YES" Restarted the kernel, then I tried: [ dk@daemon ~ ]% apm apm: can't open /dev/apm: Device not configured [ dk@daemon ~ ]% dmesg | egrep -i apm [ dk@daemon ~ ]% What else do I need to do in order to enable APM? Basically all I want to do is have my screen go blank after x amount of time. --dk To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
