I actually have two questions: How do I have one FBSD system tell another to shutdown with out compromising the security of the computers? (Like if the UPS monitoring daemon ran the shutdown script on one computer.) And is it possible to stop the shutdown remotely after it has been started (if I tell it to 'shutdown -h +5' etc.) Can you have a FBSD system tell a NT system to shutdown? How would you do that? -Sean --- Sean J. Schluntz eMail schluntz@pinpt.com Manager Support Services Phone (408) 997-6900 x222 PinPoint Software Corporation Fax (408) 323-2300 http://www.pinpt.com/
