The report in the error logs is not helpful: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) CUPS does not report an error (at least not that I can find). Thunderbird 17.0.6 has the same problem, but I have never tried to print from Thunderbird before, so I do not know if this is new. Printing from other applications works fine (Chromium, Opera, OpenOffice, GnuCash) Based on the closest suggestion I found on the Mozilla Support site, I rebuilt CUPS and CUPS pdf this weekend, but that doesn't seem to help. I also forced the rebuild of Firefox, Thunderbird, and all their dependencies in case that was it, but the problem persists. For the record, I have restarted Firefox in safe mode, and in that condition, trying to print still crashes the browser, but it crashes much faster than with extensions enabled. any ideas or suggestions?
