The side effect of the absent manpages: annoying error messages in the output of "weekly": Rebuilding whatis database: makewhatis: /usr/local/man/man3/Beep.3: No such file or directory makewhatis: /usr/local/man/man3/CDKallocStrings.3: No such file or directory .. etc >How-To-Repeat: portupgrade -f cdk on a FreeBSD-5.x branch (I am not sure about 6.x) >Fix: I contacted the maintainer (MrL0Lz _at_ gmail.com) back in April 2006. According to him - "This a known issue with the 5.X branch" The patch suggested by him (replacing -pdm with -pdmu in post-install section of the Makefile) does not work.
