If it is a winmodem and >most PCI modem are, pigs may fly first :). Indeed the PCI modem will probably not be supported. Whine to your computer sales people about their terrific choice of modems which are only usable under Windows. Sure makes you feel like you made a good investment eh? The Soundblaster Live isn't supported in 2.2.x for all I know. I don't think it is in 3.x either. And I just looked at the driver support for PCI cards in 4.0-CURRENT and it seems that you can it to use at least the SB-16 mode but none of the other functions for all I know. Come to think of it, this might also be the case on 3.x. Feel free to bug Creative about releasing specs without NDA and send those to Cameron Grant so he can add support for the card. If anyone is willing to donate hardware, ask him for his mailing address and send him a card he doesn't currently support =)) -- Jeroen Ruigrok van der Werven/Asmodai asmodai(at)wxs.nl The BSD Programmer's Documentation Project Network/Security Specialist BSD: Technical excellence at its best To do injustice is more disgraceful than to suffer it.
