Indeed the PCI modem will probably not be supported. Whine to your
computer sales people about their terrific choice of modems which are
only usable under Windows. Sure makes you feel like you made a good
investment eh?

The Soundblaster Live isn't supported in 2.2.x for all I know.
I don't think it is in 3.x either.

And I just looked at the driver support for PCI cards in 4.0-CURRENT and
it seems that you can it to use at least the SB-16 mode but none of the
other functions for all I know. Come to think of it, this might also be
the case on 3.x.

Feel free to bug Creative about releasing specs without NDA and send
those to Cameron Grant <cg@freebsd.org> so he can add support for the
card. If anyone is willing to donate hardware, ask him for his mailing
address and send him a card he doesn't currently support =))
