Should we perhaps consider changing and challeg the whole convention of usin=
g vi?

Perhaps a new BSD/SysV specification is required:
One that supports an intuitive easy editor like Joe or some lightweight form=
 of emacs.

We don't live the time of vt220 terminals anymore.
