I use rsh if I want to start gcc on the > AIX box from FreeBSD. Well, the whole reason behind this was that my AIX box (an old F40 with a 233 MHz PowerPC) is amazingly slow. I was hoping I could use my amazingly fast dual 833 MHz FreeBSD box to improve my life even more! Ah, well.
