Yes. Both on the jail and the host have xf86driproto at the time of failure.
Jail: uname -a "9.1-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 9.1".
Host: uname -a "9.1-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 9.1-PRERELEASE #0: Fri Jul 27
01:23:12 BST 2012"

pkg_info | grep xf86dri
xf86driproto-2.1.1  XFree86-DRI extension headers
