I humbly suggest that the directory structure should be kept as simple as possible, hopefully only reflecting one abstraction vector (instead of several as at present: human language, p= rogramming language, framework, application domain, etc.). Then we probably need to develop more useful tools for managing the other abstraction vectors. 'make search', 'pkgsearch', etc. help, but perhaps some form of tagging might be more to the point, with guidelines for porters about what kinds of tags are expected. --=20 Sterling (Chip) Camden | sterling@camdensoftware.com | 2048D/3A978E4F http://camdensoftware.com | http://chipstips.com | http://chipsquips= .com --QTprm0S8XgL7H0Dt Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (FreeBSD) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJM+oi3AAoJEIpckszW26+ROpsIAIR9buhX3HcWJxvBJL6BxCIa gMLx7ki3cU5xmK+9mndy/DYsGfex8t5q9k4ebayU3dtD7yI+Dnhug6iDH8hyr3gb 6jNU20q1Rtp1ojs9BNXJj5dZUZJSrO+Qi6BR0Xwmvy+Vd0bDAH+XLhclnK13TwLG qN9sGwbRClJGwnoR+A6+ZUBiUnwmOqmkN8+UHtErO1PO2RfyhCffR6yQvboaue6L wstuy+EFs4i4RcQCrn1tyJY34kAp5B+vlOjGlXxma+Gjan3PGOIDoST4yZ1ayh40 6ssINZmxk3bwSKjMqZfOCdUZUfqmHSEFzBOMFQ2lYAlR7sWExnul4n/kVI2IOFA= =57oR -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --QTprm0S8XgL7H0Dt--
