When running make, there's tons of output.

Is that saved anywhere?

I'd like to be able to log the entire build process while I test ports
before submitting them.

I also tried "make | tr -d "=\n=" "

to strip out the new lines but it seems that when make download dist files
and a few other times newlines still get through the tr command.

Is there a standard way to keep those make logs?
