Summary: Still broken: Exiting Xserver core-dumps and doesn't restore
VTY video (though keyboard is restored).  Acceleration won't start.
Overall it's a regression because it seems to put the card in a state
where VESA doesn't work so it's now impossible to restore console mode
without rebooting.
