I've set SGML_CATALOG_FILES but to an xml catalog, since for other projects I do XML validation occasionally, so the env was spoiled. After setting it right, everything seems to work. Since that seems the only required tweak apart form the docproj port, wouldn't it make sense, to include a reasonable setting in /etc/make.conf? There is already a setting for DOC_LANG.
