To: questions@FreeBSD.org Date: Fri, 17 Feb 95 18:52:22 CDT X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.2 PL0] Sender: questions-owner@FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Does anyone have the legendary 'sound.doc' that is used for the configuration of the sound boards under FreeBSD_2.1_Development? I am unable to configure my SoundBlaster Pro (old) correctly. This is what my machine says on boot: Feb 14 09:45:49 eyeara /kernel: snd1 at 0x388 on isa Feb 14 09:45:49 eyeara /kernel: snd1: Feb 14 09:45:49 eyeara /kernel: snd2 at 0x220 irq 10 drq 1 on isa Feb 14 09:45:49 eyeara /kernel: snd2: This is correct, as far as I know. I know the IRQ's are set up correctly. And I still cannot 'cat whatever.au>/dev/audio'. Anyone have any ideas? Or even if I could get my hands on the sound.doc file, it would be greatly appreciated!! --Chris -- Christopher K.
