Check ports. As a note, though. This friend may be better off with a linux distro. FreeBSD is not newbie friendly and lacks certain hardware/software support that linux has. Not having ALSA precludes certain apps from working/working well. --------------enig79D636E458BEBEC2C12BA6A1 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.6 (FreeBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFB6XaBmcXjc1XBrAQRAj1jAJ0aKxiFGIDdUxLbilAaVYppAb++oACgp2Oe RXZMpGH8aLp2lgRbC7c8N/c= =MwpD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig79D636E458BEBEC2C12BA6A1--
