I wish I could care less about chasing the exact package versions, but since the ports framework (to my humble knowledge and experience) does not support equality on port version on only, this is the only solution I can provide. Otherwise the port will not configure, as the purpose of this (meta) package is to pull in well-specified versions of the dependencies, aka. the members of the "platform". Deviating from those versions would defeat this purpose.
