This isn't personal, since I have a lot of respect for you and the work that you do. (And I know you see this coming) But ... This change has 2 problems. First, I have a generally bad opinion about this endless twiddling of stuff in this file, but that's just me. The actual problem is that your change is in the wrong direction. For time immemorial we've standardized on 2 spaces after full stops. It's anachronistic, and I don't particularly like it myself, but that IS the standard for our documentation.
