Here's the error listing: ===> devascii Making R sed: 2: "s/^\([^ ]*\) [0-9]+ /\1 ...": invalid command code / *** Error code 1 (from groff/devascii) I have an smp machine I do this on, so the first thing I did was cd to the groff directory and try a one directory build to see closer what broke ... those of you doing smp -j 12 builds know that the error messages are sometimes not real clear. When I did the build from groff, it worked just fine. Confusing ... so I tried another make buildworld, but this time without the -j 12, so I would get the equivalent of a non-smp build. Same error, just with a more comprehensible error listing (the one you see above). Again I tried to cd to the groff directory and do the make again (with a clean obj directory, yes, no .depend files even) but again, it works fine from there. OK, I'm puzzled ... any ideas?
