Or is it easier to just use qmail, that puts the inbox > into "~/"? First of all, you ought to configure your sendmail to forward all mail to the procmail delivery agent. This is done by creating a .forward file that contains % cat ~/.forward |/usr/local/bin/procmail Then, you can create a .procmailrc file that uses the HOME environment variable to set up a default mailbox. For instance, I use: % cat ~/.procmailrc DEFAULT=$HOME/Mailbox MAILDIR=$HOME/Mail :0 * ^delivered-to:.*questions@freebsd.org freebsd.questions ... Then, procmail will promptly deliver all the mail that does not match one of my mailing lists filters to $DEFAULT which is the same as the ~/Mailbox file used by qmail. -- Giorgos Keramidas, < keramida @ ceid . upatras . gr > For my public key: finger keramida@ceid.upatras.gr To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
