Gianmarco Giovannelli stands accused of saying: > > A friend of mine (that haven't an internet access) have installed FreeBsd > 2.1 as an NFS server. > > He asked me if there is a software to make the client NFS under plain dos... > He told me about a "PcNfs" but I never heard. Have you some address of > software house that made something like this ? Look on any decent PC software archive for 'xfs186.zip' (or a newer version). This is a freely-distributable NFS client for DOS. There's a companion version for Windows as well. You will need to enable the pcnfsd on the BSD box, and run mountd with the -u option (see /etc/sysconfig). > __/// Gianmarco -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control (ph/fax) +61-8-267-3039 [[ ]] Collector of old Unix hardware.
