When GNOME 2.2 goes into the tree, I'll make > sure to get all of these kinds of things. it's hard for me to write in english. therefore it's easy that you misunderstood me or i forgot something or i write in a way where you can't know everything. therefore her only some facts: - i've never installed gtk-2.0/gnome 2.0 - i've installed gnome 2.1 from scratch after marcusmerge. - bevore installing i did a update of the gtk shared lib version (2.0.200) in any Makefile in /usr/ports (find+sed -i) - in only one port (bluecurve - which i've installed yesterday) i had to change the directory (2.0.0 -> 2.2.0) - all gtk2-engines are installed in ${X11BASE}/.../2.2.0/engines/: (libbluecurve.so, libmetal.so, libpixmap.so, libredmond95.so, libsvg.so) - mozilla comes up with every engine: Bluecurve, Redmond95, Metal and the Accessibility-Themes (LowContrast, ...) - mozilla doesn't come up or better come up with gtk-default with themes like "fishing the sky", Aquesco (from http://arts.gnome.org/). themes that use the pixmap-engine. anyway - since mozilla _and_ galeon2 working _with_ gtk2/Xft i'm perfectly happy. :-) if you think there is something wrong an i could do anything that helps you to track this down please tell it me.
