As previously announced, todays' snap has support for the SB16 in full duplex. I have included a replacement module for vat (misc/audio-voxware.cc) so you can try it out; http://www.iet.unipi.it/~luigi/snd970909.tgz requires http://www.iet.unipi.it/~luigi/pnp970907.tgz Since I could only do limited tests I'd like to know how it works for you (quality will not be very good, be warned...)
